The Kloof Conservancy has formed a partnership with Dawn Booth of Dawn Booth Books with the aim of promoting environmental awareness at Pre-Primary and Primary School Levels. Dawn produces timeless stories which allow the reader to escape to a whimsical world of a family of mice and their friends. Dawn presents her environmental wise stories at schools with a dual objectives of encouraging children to protect the environment and inspiring them to become active participants in respecting the environment. At the same time it is hoped to encourage learners to read books!

A key aspect of the approach is to encourage the young learners to interact with a series of remarkably detailed miniatures depicting the mice family in various environments.
